Founder & Principal
Dr. Alain Biem is a co-founder of Albius AI Partners and a globally recognized AI executive, scientist, and strategist.
He has led enterprise AI at Fortune 100 scale as Chief AI Officer at New York Life and as Chief AI Scientist and Head of AI at S&P Global Market Intelligence, building a global AI organization across three continents, with earlier AI leadership at Wayfair and Opera Solutions and years at IBM Research as a principal scientist.
He holds a PhD in Machine Learning and AI, teaches as an adjunct professor at Columbia University, and is fluent in English, French, and Japanese.

Dr. Yuri Katz
Founder & Principal
Dr. Yuri Katz is a co-founder of Albius AI Partners and an AI leader, professor, and mathematician working at the intersection of machine learning, financial risk, and the physical sciences.
Previously Head of Data Science, Risk & Valuation Services at S&P Global Market Intelligence, he led AI innovation in financial risk across teams spanning multiple geographies. A published researcher with 40+ papers across machine learning, quantitative finance, and the physical sciences, he brings mathematical depth and research leadership to the firm's most complex modeling and decision-intelligence work.
